At noon on game day , that gardening mindset helped when the brothers were asked to bring corn to place on a fence by the Yankees dugout . They ended up filling plastic water bottles and putting the corn into the bottles like a rose in a vase . And it worked , keeping the vigor of the plant intact and preventing wilting .
“ I thought of it like roses you would get at the store , so we tried putting the stalks in these little water bottles ,” said Adam . “ And they ended up staying green and healthylooking through the game .”
The MLB site is actually about 1,000 feet west of the movie site home plate that is still a popular tourist attraction . The league
